Typhoon Shan Shan

Finally, a real typhoon is coming our way! Well for now, at least, it looks like it's coming our way... We love, love typhoons because it's our time to stay home and enjoy each other's company while we watch movies after movies. We take a break by cleaning bedrooms and closets! FUN, huh?

We are the small island directly north of the storm. We are forecasted to receive 50kt+ winds from Saturday morning 'til Sunday morning with peak winds of 100kts occurring around Saturday midnight. Yeay!!! That means no long run on Saturday, BUMMER!

Around Thursday is when everyone and their brothers will run to the grocery stores and buy up ALL the water, canned goods, and batteries available! The lines to cash out are EXTREMELY horrendous! That's why I'll go TODAY!

After all that said, there's still a chance that typhoon ShanShan might veer away from us...
