Playing at Ikei Island

Surf was up at Ikei. We woke up at the crack of dawn and headed out on Columbus Day. Niko paddled Brian, with boogie board in tow, out to the break, and dropped him off. Niko then surfed the waves with his kayak! I have to admit, I was a bit nervous, but Niko handled the kayak really well! What did I do??? Well, what do all Moms do, but hold down the fort and quilt on the seashore! I'm not quite ready for the surf yet. Baby steps for me! We had a blast, though. Again, the weather was perfect, the water was a bit chilly, but the guys didn't even notice!
