Gelnhausen




We didn't waste any time! Got off the plane after our 14-hr ride and went to see Gelnhausen. Our friends lived just a few blocks from this old, old town built in the 1200s! Everything's still intact. It's a full functioning town with businesses and private homes. Amazing, beautiful, and cold as heck, especially after coming from tropical Okinawa.

    Brian and Paula,
    I just took a look at your blog. Sorry that I haven't visited previously. I'm impressed. The terrain is familiar. I assume that you're just visiting, given the completion of the Naha Marathon. I trust that it went well.
    Best to both of you and Nicco. He's unbelievably larger than the last time I saw him.
